The protection of your personal data is important to us. In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO)) we are required to inform you about the purpose of the collection, storage, or transfer of your personal data by our practice. We also inform you about your rights regarding the protection of your data.

2. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Your data are processed on the basis of legal requirements so that the contract for treatment concluded between you and your physician and all its associated obligations can be fulfilled. For this purpose, we process your personal data, especially data pertaining to your state of health. These data include your medical history, diagnoses, therapy recommendations and findings recorded by us or other physicians. Other physicians or psychotherapists who are treating you may also make your data available to us for this purpose (e.g. in medical reports). Collection of this data is the pre-condition for your treatment. If the necessary information is not provided, appropriate treatment cannot be given.
3. RECIPIENTS OF YOUR DATA
We only transfer your personal data to third parties when this is permitted by law or you have given us your explicit consent. Your data may be transferred to other physicians / psychotherapists, associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurances, health insurance medical services, medical councils, and invoicing agencies for private medical services. The data is transferred mainly for the purpose of billing the medical services you have received, to clarify any medical queries or queries regarding your health insurance status. In individual cases, the data may be transferred to other authorised recipients.
4. STORAGE OF YOUR DATA
We store your personal data only for as long as is necessary for completion of your treatment. We are required by law to keep these data for a period of at least 10 years after conclusion of your treatment. Other regulations may stipulate longer retention periods, for example 30 years for X-rays in accordance with Paragraph 28, Section 3, of the German Radiology Regulation.
5. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to be informed about the storage of data pertaining to your person, as well as the right to demand the correction of incorrect data. Furthermore, you have the right under certain conditions to demand that your data be deleted or to restrict the processing of your data, and you have the right to data portability. Your data are processed on the basis of legal regulations. Only in exceptional circumstances do we need your consent. In such cases, you have the right to revoke your consent to future processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible data protection authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of your data is not lawful.
6. GOOGLE ANALYTICS AND COOKIES
This website uses Google Analytics, an internet evaluation service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses what are known as "cookies" - these are text files which are stored on your computer to enable an analysis of website use by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is first truncated within member states of the European Union or other signatory states to the agreement on the European Economic Area.
